About Our Client

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, specializing in high-quality automotive parts that drive innovation and performance. This longstanding and stable company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our plant equipment and machinery. This role involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, developing and implementing maintenance strategies, and ensuring that all equipment operates at peak performance to meet production goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Tier One automotive manufacturing environment, along with strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and address equipment performance issues.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and downtime.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of parts and tools.
  • Implement and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency.

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensed Millwright or Electrician
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in supervising and leading maintenance teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
