This longstanding and stable company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. Position Overview: The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our plant equipment and machinery. This role involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, developing and implementing maintenance strategies, and ensuring that all equipment operates at peak performance to meet production goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a Tier One automotive manufacturing environment, along with strong leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and address equipment performance issues. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and downtime. Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including procurement of parts and tools. Implement and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime. Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency. Key Qualifications: Licensed Millwright or Electrician 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within an automotive manufacturing environment. Proven experience in supervising and leading maintenance teams. Strong technical knowledge of automotive manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Familiarity with maintenance management software and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
